King number one in Puerto Rico BSN for week 18

American Forward Louis King (201-F-1999) put on an extraordinary performance in the last week for second-ranked Criollos de Caguas, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 18.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 26 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Guaynabo (#4, 12-11) 104-101. Criollos maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Puerto Rican BSN. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Caguas will need more victories to improve their 14-8 record. In the team's last game King had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He just recently signed at Criollos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Louis King averages this season 16.1ppg and 6.2rpg.

The second best player in last week's games was another Caguas' star - young American Travis Trice II (183-PG-1993). Trice II had a very good evening with a double-double of 11 points and 15 assists. Of course together with King he helped Criollos de Caguas with another comfortable win 99-81 over the lower-ranked Quebradillas (#6, 6-17) being unquestionably team leader. Criollos' second position in Group A has not changed. His team's 14-8 record is not bad at all. Trice II is one of the most experienced players at Criollos and similarly like Louis King has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.3ppg (#6). He also recorded 9.8 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last week was American guard Brandon Knight (190-G-1991) of Mets de Guaynabo (#4). Knight showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists in the last week. Despite Knight's great performance the Mets lost 101-104 to #2 ranked Caguas. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Guaynabo needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the Group B. Their record is 12 victories and 11 lost games. Knight has a great season in Puerto Rico. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.6ppg (8th best) and assists with 6.5apg (7th best).

10. Rigoberto Mendoza (191-SG-1992) of Aguada - 12 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists
